About the Boost Youth Employment Program

The Africa Centre has operated the Boost Youth Employment Program since 2017 through the support of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy funding.

We offer a 22-week program that includes 10 weeks of job readiness and life skills training and 12 weeks of full-time employment. For the 12-weeks of work experience, we partner with new and former employment partners who are seeking to hire youth immediately. For more details about being an employer partner check out the Employer Guide.
